With an increasing number of people having sleeping concerns, it will become common place to get people struggling not to fall asleep during working hours. Consuming caffeine to redress your sleeping concerns may lead to addiction. From my deep research in sleeping concerns, I will detail 15 tips on how to feel more awake naturally.

1. Take a walk.

Get up and take a walk for about 10 minutes. This walk can increase your energy for the next two hours. During walking oxygen is pump through your veins, brain, and muscles. If your working situation requires a lot of sitting, this method will be of serious help to you, because when you take a walk it really makes you feel more refreshed and alert.

2. Sleep for few Minutes.

You can take a short nap of between 10 to 25 minutes, but don’t take near your bed time. If at the job site, it’s important to take you nap, during your break time and ensure to set your alarm to wake you up. Some modern companies are already providing nap rooms for employees. At times you can just rest for 10 with your eyes closed.

3. Let your eyes rest to avoid tiredness. 
After focusing your eyes on a computer screen for a long time, it is advisable to look away from the screen for some few minutes to avoid eyestrain to reduce the fatigue.

4. Drink sweet fresh fruit juice to boost energy.

Snacks rich in sugar give you a quick energy boost.  Snacks such as these will provide better overall energy in the long run. Peanut butter on a whole wheat cracker or celery sticks, yogurt and a handful or nuts or fresh fruit and Baby carrots with a low-fat cream cheese dip

5. Start a discussion with someone.

As you energy is finishing, try and star a discussion with you friend or colleague. After the discussion, your mind will be stable again especially if the discussion was very interesting.

6. Check your lighting system.

If your environment is with dim light, it goes a long way to aggravate your fatigue.  Studies have shown that exposure to bright light can reduce sleepiness and increase alertness. Try increasing the intensity of your light source at work.

7. Take a deep breath.

Take a deep breath in, this will raise you blood oxygen levels. This will slow your heart rate, lower blood pressure and improves circulation leading to better mental performance. You can do this several times.

8. Stop your car and have a rest.

As a driver, it’s important to stop every after 2 hours of driving and walk around, or you can let someone else help you in driving if you are tired.

9. Change activities.

When you are tired especially after performing a particular task or activity, try as much as possible to change what you were doing. This will go a long way to make you more active again.

10. Enough water will help you.

Acute shortage of water in your system may cause serious tiredness in human being.  When you feel tired, drink water and eat enough fruits and vegetable rich in water

11. Get Some Daylight to Regulate Your Sleep Cycles.

When you feel too tired, it is important to listen to s good track of music. This will go a long way to relax you brain and make you more energies.

It purifies and refreshes not only the body but our innermost core too. This goes a long way to boost your energy the whole day and prevent fatigue tiredness.

You can increase you energy by thinking positively. Do not think about your inadequacies, your defects, your imperfections and your failures, instead, think about your achievements. Feel your beauty and your inner worth. This will boost your energy seriously.
